Much like the United Nations, the United Earth Federation (simply the Federation, the UEF, or the Earth Federation) is a mutual defense alliance. However, it also has a say in all defense policies of the member contries. Each country has a slight army to protect its own investments, but the overwhelming majority of the armed forces are of the UEF Armed Forces.
